    Jalo's Eye Surgery

Animals like Jalo come in to the G.W. Exotic Animal Park Almost Daily, There is very extensive work that must be done to repair injuries, vitamin deficiencies, and deformities from in breeding and such. Without your help none of this can be done to help the animals that are so endangered and beautiful.

The argument is made daily if it is being fair to keep some of these animals alive or just kill them because of the handicap the human race

has forced them to live by. We truly believe that living handicap is better than a death sentence, just as humans are living with handicaps all over the world.

Prepping for Surgery

Jalo is resting before the long surgery

Horrible Discovery, the whole Orbit bone is shattered

Large Pieces of Bone is removed before the eye

                Surgery is under way

The eye had been injured with so much blunt force trauma the lens was not even in the eye.

Jalos eye is now ready to be removed

Surgery is over, she is being cleaned up and reversal drugs are administered.

We are very sorry about the graphic pictures it takes to get across the Idea of what real life of saving animals is all about.

We are forced to see this day in and day out. But it is with the dedication of the vets and the staff in order to make saving them all possible.
