About the G.W. Exotic Animal Memorial Park

An Educational Zoological Park

The G.W. Exotic Animal Park was founded in 1997 as a not for profit organization  by Francis and Shirley Schreibvogel of Springer Oklahoma after a drunk driver hit and killed their son G.W. Upon his death Francis was vowed that no one would profit from his death and with the memories of always wanting to go to the jungle and see the animals running wild, Shirley and himself bought the land in Wynnewood Oklahoma and began a place where unwanted exotic animals could come live with respect and at the same time open a zoo in their sons name where people all over the world could come and learn about the endangered animals of the world while helping keep some of them from becoming extinct and teaching people what responsible ownership of these animals is all about. In the last 10 years this park has been visited by people in all 50 states and over 200 foreign countries. The cages of this park are all built as living memorials from other people who has lost loved ones in some way. The park is now become one of the nations largest housing 128 species of animals and over 182 large cats totaling animals of about 1400. Along with becoming the largest we have made a few people jealous along the way and giving others a good target for telling lies in order to raise money for their own organizations. We ask you to come see this park and take a tour to see for your self just what really gets put into the day to day work at this park and what a beautiful place it is before you cast judgment on rumors and lies.
