STOP THE EXTINCTION MOVEMENT!

I am very concerned about bills that are being introduced that are authored by the Humane Society of the United States. These bills are written under the guise of public safety, and usually apply to a list of so-called "dangerous animals". These are ban bills and if enacted in every state, it will result in the "management to extinction" of the largest, and most diverse gene pool of threatened and endangered species throughout America. HSUS bills prohibit Americans from engaging in captive husbandry, breeding, exhibiting, and educational work with exotic feline species.

It is no secret that the HSUS has a goal to eliminate all captive wildlife. Since the horrendous big cat massacre that occurred in Zanesville, Ohio, last October, the HSUS has used this tragedy as an excuse to send their lobbyists to every state legislature in session, to shop their ban bills for sponsors and introduction.

PROTECT THE MAJESTY UNDER THE BIG TOP

Everyone is familiar with the affectionate embrace shared by circus trainer and big cat. Gone are the days of the whip and chair. Lions and tigers are intelligent and complex creatures that benefit from compassionate care and mental stimulation. And life as a trained animal performer is one way to provide both these essential ingredients to a long and healthy life. Professional animal trainers have the experience and skills to meet these important psychological needs.

Moreover, contrary to the unfounded animal rights myth that “exotic animals being trained are routinely subjected to physical abuse,” the truth is, positive reinforcement is the industry standard in behavior conditioning. Congress passed the Animal Welfare Act to regulate treatment of performing animals, and USDA Animal Care inspectors already make sure that these humane standards are met.

THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT TIGERS HAVE EVER BEEN KILLED FOR THEIR PARTS IN AMERICA

Senator Ray Lesniak, New Jersey Chairman of the Senate Economic Growth Committee, has introduced a Senate Bill 3061 to require registration and tracking of tigers in New Jersey. This bill will only affect accredited zoos and museums, because they are the only holders of tigers in New Jersey.

A mass email being generated by Carole Baskin of Big Cat Rescue is insinuating that tiger owners in New Jersey are slaughtering their tigers for the growing trade in tiger parts used to make alleged traditional Asian medicines, tonics, clothing, ornamentation and tiger bone wine. This is a slanderous accusation having no factual basis.

Tell Your Government to Vote NO on the Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act

State Representative Jim Moran (D-Va.) has introduced a bill called the The Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act, which is backed by none other than the extremist animal rights groups along with Bob Barker. We need you to be the voice! Not for the fact you agree or disagree with traveling shows or circuses, but for the fact that if we allow this, the animal rights groups will be one step closer controlling everything we do in America. Next, it will be farmers, and so on and so on. It will not stop unless you are the voice of the American taxpayer. Tell your elected officials that we do not pay taxes for the animal rights groups to make our laws for us.

Tell Your Senators Not to Allow HSUS to Influence USDA

We finally have a U.S. Senator, (R) Sen. Jerry Moran, Kansas, who believes, as we do, that the HSUS has too much influence in steering the USDA in their direction. Now is the time we get more Senators to listen and follow the lead of Senator Moran. We need to push the animal rights out of our industry and lives and get more animal and science professionals in on the discussions and advisory committees. This is one step in the right direction.

Carole Baskin and family must be held accountable for fraud

On August 18, 2011, a felony fraud complaint was presented to the Hillsborough County Sherriff's Department against Carole Baskin of Big Cat Rescue and her mother, Mary Stairs, her father Vernon Stairs, and her daughter Jamie Murdoch.

Carole Baskin and Mary Stairs are registered notaries in the State of Florida. It is a 3rd degree felony for a notary to sign for their immediate family.

More than 60 documents were presented to Sherriff's Department that shows Mary and Carole were notarizing for one another and Jamie Murdoch for various real estate transactions funneled their numerous non-profits, including Big Cat Rescue.

As of today, the Sherriff's Department has stalled on any action, although they were handed all of the proof.

We are asking you to demand the Sherriff's department take the appropriate action and bring charges against these individuals who blatantly have broken the law on numerous occasions and continue to do so in 2011.

Below is a letter you can send the local, state, and federal employees in their jurisdiction demanding action.

After reading about this in the Animal Finders Guide, it moved me to the point that Pat Hoctor is completely right. We must unite and begin a grass roots movement that will scare the hell out of the politicians who represent you.

It is time we became a voice for ourselves instead of allowing lobbyists who are paid by domestic terrorists to do it for us. We have one of the most powerful tools at our fingertips, CAPWIZ. All you have to do is enter your information, including your zip code, and the following letter will be sent to every politician in your area.

If we do not unite, you are going to see more corruption in the USDA and other agencies that make the laws that affect your rights. You do not have to own an animal to voice your opinion. This is what is happening with ban laws and corruption within our own government. A government elected by us, to protect us.

People within the animal industry do more for conservation and species survival than anyone else in the world because we love our animals.

FEATURED ALERT - HELP TIGERS FROM BECOMMING EXTINCT

Take Action

There is an enormous illegal trade in wild tiger parts and the products made from them, including tiger bone wine, tiger pelts, teeth, eyes, as well as alleged "traditional" medicines and aphrodisiacs. Captive born tigers within the United States are not farmed for this reason and are not being killed and cut apart to have their body parts sold on the black market.

The fact is it is too risky to be caught by authorities here in the United States, even though animal rights zealots would love for you to believe this lie.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has, to this day, no idea how many purebred tigers there are in the United States. If they are allowed to add the generic tiger to this list of endangered species, it will make the conservation efforts of purebred species nearly impossible to maintain. No government agency will pay or foot the bill to perform DNA testing on any of these animals in the name of conservation.

Big Cat Rescue is the leading supporter of including the generic tiger on this list and the reason why is to l limit their competition in the big cat industry. Their push to stop the generic tiger and put it on the FWS list is just to further their agenda and would be the first step to causing tigers in captivity to become extinct along with those in the wild. This simply cannot happen. These people would also have you believe that breeding captive tigers is harming conservation efforts in the wild. The truth is, captive tigers will never be returned to the wild and the wild tiger will be extinct within the next 10 years.

They would also like you to believe that all tigers outside AZA zoos are generic, which is another very untrue statement. The AZA is a private group of people who also have no idea how many pure bred tigers they have within their own group.

If you would truly like to understand why tigers and other endangered species are becoming extinct and losing the fight to survive, please go to this link and see what is happening in their natural habitats.

BIG CAT RESCUE SOLICITING FRAUDULENT DONATIONS

Take Action

Big Cat Rescue is soliciting donations on Facebook to raise money for 3 tigers that they are claiming will be moved from San Antonio to Big Cat Rescue in Florida. The problem is they are raising money to pay a transport company named Loving Animal Transport. The transport company is not licensed by the USDA to haul Tigers and does not have a Department of Transportation License either. The side of their so called vehicle says: Private Coach "Not for Hire". Then why are they charging to move these cats? We called the Florida Fish and Wildlife to verify that a permit has been secured to even bring these tigers into Florida and one has not been issued. Either way, money is being raised to move animals, with no permits, and are being promoted as being moved to BCR which has had over 117 cats die in their care.

PUBLIC DEMAND TO OPEN AN INVESTIGATION INTO USDA SPOKESPERSON DAVID SACKS

His Possible Ties to Big Cat Rescue of Tampa, Florida

Recently, USDA Spokesperson David Sacks made false statements to the press that cost the G.W. Exotic Animal Park $20,000 in fundraising. Mr. Sacks was also quoted commenting on an ongoing investigation regarding tainted baby tiger formula, which is not permitted. Furthermore, Mr. Sacks is quoted in numerous newspaper articles regarding other facilities that Carole Baskin of Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, Florida has publicly condemned to further her own personal agenda.

We are asking everyone to write the USDA and demand an investigation be launched against Mr. Sacks to ensure this does not happen again, and that any personal agenda or relationship Mr. Sack's may have with Carole Baskin is exposed.

Tony Will Be Exploited More at a Different Location

Is Tony in need of being rescued? No, he is in good health, has a nice compound, and is very loved by his owner, Mike Sandlin. The rights we all have as Americans are being torn away from us daily by the Animal Rights Groups. What does an organization on the west coast really care about a tiger in Louisiana anyway, other than to make headlines and put another notch in their gun? If this was your loved pet, and they were trying to take it away from you, Mike would help you fight for your pet, so don't let him fight this alone. Please send this alert and share it with everyone you know. It is not about if you think a tiger should live at a truck stop, it is about as long as your following the laws put upon you that you have a right to keep your rights.

117 exotic felines have died so far at Big Cat Rescue

Please help us force the USDA and the State of Florida to move in an investigate why 117 exotic Felines, Lions, Tigers, and other exotic cats have died for un-known reasons at Big Cat Rescue of Tampa Florida. We also need to find out the reason Carole Baskin, CEO of Big Cat Rescue, finds it a need to send the bodies of the dead felines to her local taxidermist. Felines are being given live domestic rabbits for entertainment and left for hours of torture. In the meantime, the dead animals are still being portrayed on Youtube for donations as live animals still living on the property.
